On tacky glasses

You know how they sell reading glasses at CVS, Wal-mart, etc?  These are my mom’s glasses of choice. She has a half-dozen pairs in various colors and patterns, as she loses them frequently (aka all the damn time.) She has never been to an eye doctor in her life, but can’t read a book a foot in front of her face.

I digress…I’m in the market for some glasses, as mine were stolen in the “Break Megan’s windows and steal ridiculous, unusable items from her car” incident of last month. And, I’m wondering if they make the same cheapie glass, but for nearsighted people.

Thoughts? Anyone?

I need something to hold me over until I can make it to Pennsylvania* for a weekend and get a new prescription.

(I’m on my parents’ insurance until I graduate and Maryland is out of network. Fucking health insurance.)
